Who the hell do these guys think they are? Here's what they can't seem to wrap their heads around.

YOU DON'T GET TO TELL ME I'M NOT A MAN!

Despite what you may hear on Fox News, the only attack on masculinity is the one coming from the right, that says "if you don't dress like me, don’t love like me, don’t think like me, or don’t vote like me, you are not a man.” That is Toxic Masculinity. “If you aren’t like me, you are a woman, and you should be ashamed.” And, that implication of shame, “if you are like a woman, you should be ashamed,” is what makes it misogyny.

When Jesse Waters said those words on Fox News, the chyron below his image read, DEMS HOST “SAFE SPACE” ZOOMS FOR HARRIS SUPPORTERS. They couldn’t have it say what they really wanted it to say: “These guys are a bunch of pussies.”

I was on that Zoom call. I wouldn’t have missed it for the world. Here’s what I can tell you about it.

It was powerful.

It was not 180,000 men passing around a proverbial box of tissues.

It was a bunch of guys acknowledging that, if we want to protect our wives and sisters and children, rather than leave them at the mercy of ugly *men* like Donald Trump and JD Vance, NOW is the time to stand up and fight.

You want to know what else we talked about? How in the hell are we supposed to reach the men we love, who are so deluded they think a twice impeached and wrongfully acquitted, adjudicated rapist, convicted felon, who is out on bond in multiple jurisdictions, who did everything he possibly could to overthrow the election and remain in power the last time around, is the *man* who will lead this country to a prosperous future.

Here is what I want all you arbiters of *real masculinity* to understand.

If Ben Shapiro is what you consider a man, I don’t want to be a man.

If Donald Trump Jr. is what you call a man, I don’t want to be a man.

If Jesse Waters is a man, I don’t want to be a man.

If JD Vance is a man, with all his cat lady comments, and his poor attempts to come off as folksy or whatever, if he is what you call a man, I’ll pass.

And, if you think Donald John Trump, the biggest fucking crybaby on the face of the earth, the guy who is so insecure he can’t find it in himself to accept defeat, and, for four years and counting now, continues instead to pretend he won, if you think he is a man, call me a little girl or whatever. I don’t care.

I understand the assignment.

I’ll be on that next Zoom call, and every call I can after that. I can’t wait for my White Dudes for Harris hat to arrive. I’ll wear it proudly.

Maybe voting for the Vice-President will turn me into a woman. We’ll see. Although, I’ve voted for plenty of other women, and I still have a penis and the desire to use it.

But, I’ll tell you this, I would rather be a woman than be a man like Jesse Waters or JD Vance or Ben Shapiro or either Donald Trump.

So, Jesse, you said for a man to vote for Kamala Harris, he either has “mommy issues,” or he is pandering to the women in his life. There is a third possibility that I understand you must be unfamiliar with, given that you somehow manage to call yourself a journalist with a straight face. Maybe he is a principled man. Maybe he insists on voting for the best candidate, no matter their race or gender.

And Ben, you want to talk about masculinity? Maybe you should sit this one out. My guess is you’ve seen the inside of more trash cans, courtesy of the jocks at your high school, than you have mommy parts.

Finally, Don Jr., that funny taste you get in your mouth, after you kiss your wife, that’s another guy’s penis. And, that penis belongs to a White Dude for Harris.

Hey folks,

I originally posted this here, without emailing it directly to subscribers. I feared that last line about Junior might ruffle some feathers. Then, this morning, I read to to a buddy over the phone, and he laughed out loud. That’s why you’re seeing this in your inbox.

In hindsight, especially considering that most the guys I refer to in this piece go through life insulting anyone who disagrees with them, if you take offense to me insulting the son of a robber baron, maybe this isn’t the right place for you.
